This song is surely the essence of an organic flow.

Rest In Peace - Rap Artist 'Black Rob' Dead At 51

Rap Artist 'Robert Ross', known as Black Rob was signed to "Bad Boy Records". He was best known for the hot hip-hop single "Whoa" in 2000 which hit the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at number 43 and reaching the top 10 on both the Rap and R&B charts. Rob was also top featured on the "Bad Boy 4 Life" track with Diddy and many other songs with hip-hop celebs.

Throughout the recent years Black Rob has been experiencing bad times. Radio Personality 'DJ Self' kept in touch with him and says he's been trying to get help for the Rap Artist. However, it appears that he just wasn't able to receive the help needed from other people. 
DJ Self shared this picture today along with a post statement: "Lord knows I tried to get help...... I'm sad to say RIP to Black Rob..... Passed away in the hospital in Atlanta".....🙏🏾"

Before Rob was hospitalized, DJ self shared the video below of Black Rob letting people know what he was going through. Along with the video DJ Self wrote: 
"Black Rob speaks!!!! I feel it's better you hear from him"

As he appeared to be in great pain while complaining about his side, In the video, Black Rob says he's been through 4 strokes and he didn't have a home to live in. Towards the end of the video, Black Rob said, "I need some rest".
When learning about DMX's death, Black Rob was in the hospital and appeared to be in bad health and excruciating pain. DJ Self was with him to capture this moment of Rob remembering X.

Black Rob died a week later today on April 17, 2021 from reportedly kidney failure. He was 51 years old.

DMX Passed Away at 50 - Statement From Family - Rest In Peace

Friday night on April 2, 2021, sources says DMX was rushed to the hospital after an alleged overdose and heart attack which put him in a coma. This was also reported by TMZ whos been in close contact with X's manager of whom provided updates on X's status. On Thursday, April 8, rumors went out that DMX died but at the time he was still in a coma with low brain activity and his prognosis wasn't looking good. It was said that his organs slowly started to shut down.

On Friday April 9, 2021 the family confirmed that the Hip-Hop Rapper, Actor, and Songwriter died in a White Plains, New York Hospital and a statement was released.

"We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50 years old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days. Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end."


"He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl's music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle and the man the world knew as DMX. We will share information about his memorial service once details are finalized."

People.com reports that the hospital who was providing X's care says "Earl Simmons passed away peacefully with family present after suffering a catastrophic cardiac arrest. They also stated that an attorney could not confirm TMZ's report that is was triggered by a drug overdose.

The hip-hop artist was born December 18, 1970 in Mount Vernon, New York. He started taking his music career serious in the 90's


DMX certified his organic and highly energetic rapping talent when he put out a creative hip hop album "It's Dark and Hell Is Hot" in 1998 which landed him number one on the Billboard Chart and in the nominated seat for R&B/Hip-Hop Album Artist Of The Year. Through the years to follow he consistently remained on the list of nominees for awards. In 2000 and 2001 he won the American Music Award for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist.

Simmons married Tashera Simmons in 1999, they later divorced in 2014; he was now engaged to Desiree Lindstrom. The New York Post reports that Simmons has 15 children: 4 with Tashera, 1 with his current Fiancée Desiree, and 10 more by other women. 


The 50 year old Hip Hop Rap Artist and Songwriter was known for his top rated songs: It's All Good, Ruff Ryders' Anthem, Where The Hood At, What These Bi*ches Want, Get At Me Dog, What's My Name, Party Up, X Gon' Give It to Ya, We Right Here, How's It Goin' Down, The Rain, One More Road To Cross, Slippin', Get It on the Floor, Here We Go Again, Lord Give Me A Sign, Stop Being Greedy, Who We Be, Grand Finale, No Love for Me, and Blackout.



DMX was also a talented actor, he starred in over 21 movies: Fast and Fierce, Belly, Beef, Romeo Must Die, Last Hour, Ride or Die, How To Be A Player, Hip Hop Story, The Bleeding, Cradle 2 the Grave, Exit Wounds, Beyond The Law, Death Toll, Pimp, Chronicle of a Serial Killer, Lords Of The Street, Backstage, Lockjaw, Father of Lies, Can't Stop Won't Stop, Journey to Sundance, The Art Of Action, and more.

Throughout X's career it's been reported that he battled with substance abuse and run-ins with the law.   In one of the most remembered interviews with UPROXX , he became emotional as he talked about how he was tricked into smoking crack at the age of 14 by his rap mentor.

Through all the hard times in DMX's life he still appeared to be creative, loving to his family, friends and fans, supportive, and most of all displaying his love for the Lord. He will be missed.
